“Natural” portrait photography is what I have an eye for. Even in a studio environment, I’ll bring the natural out of you and your kids. No fake smiles and awkward poses.

3 words to describe my style: Natural, Elegant, Artistic. (and always playful)

I mostly shoot on-location in San Jose, Cupertino, Palo Alto, Portola Valley, and Morgan Hill. And I’m always in a hunt for interesting places I can offer to my clients.

To secure your spot I require a $250 session fee (as a non-refundable deposit).

For newborn and cake smash sessions the deposit is $300.

I am not a fan of sessions with props, therefore I normally don’t provide them. If my clients want to use props they are more then welcome to bring their own and as many as they want.

A session fee is required to secure your date and to provide you with the best service and guidance before the session even starts. Plus the session fee will give you access to an online gallery and a mobile app with all the images you decide to purchase after the session. While the online gallery is only available for 2 weeks (and you use it to make your additional purchases – please see the link with “online catalog for full prices), the mobile app is for you to keep forever.

My clients can always add a video option for their session for an additional $450. Scroll down to see examples of videos I offer.

Pick from a variety of sessions and let’s create the most wonderful portraits of you and your family!

Step 1: This is the most important part of any commission for me. Whether it’s headshots, family portraits, or maternity portraits, I begin each project by meeting in a casual environment, often over coffee or tea. After the session is booked and the date of your session is secured, I try to get to know you and your family, which helps me to plan how to capture the essence of you or your family during the actual session. You are able to learn about me, my photographic point-of-view, and the end products that I will deliver following the session. We’ll discuss the goals and location of the photo shoot. If the meeting is in your home, we can talk about where the final art product will be hung or placed. Knowing that helps me to match the shots taken during our session to the mood of your home’s interior design.

If we can’t meet in person, you will have a questionnaire to fill out before out session, that will help me to get to know you and your family a little better. I’m also always available to chat about your needs and expectations over the phone or via Skype.

Step 2: The portrait photography session occurs. This will not feel like a professional photoshoot. We have fun during the session. Most family photography sessions require about an hour. You’ll be able to take as many breaks as you want. This is helpful if your kids need a snack or bathroom break!

Step 3: This is the most exciting part! Within a week, we meet again. In lieu of digital proofs, I provide a 5 x 7 heirloom–quality album containing high-quality prints of the best photos from the session. We will go over all of the possibilities to display your favorite photos throughout your home. You will be able to choose from or customize any of the collections I offer. All of my collections are a mix of custom wall art / albums and high-resolution digital files.

Step 4: I deliver the artwork in person if you are local. Otherwise, any purchased artwork or albums are safely mailed to you.

The portrait photography process, from start to finish, is approximately 6 weeks.

Keepsakes Worth Displaying

You and your time are worth more than a disc full of files, forgotten and rarely looked at as time passes.
While good as a back-up archive, digital files are not tangible; printed images are. As a full-service professional photographer, I am proud to provide a choice of product options/collections for your portraits, including museum-quality wall art displays and custom designed photo albums produced in the best photography lab in the U.S.

Ewa’s Portrait Photography Framed Art Prints, Photograph Displays, and Album Options

  • Museum Quality Fine Art Prints. Choose from a variety of frames. Prints are delivered framed and behind a plexiglass, ready to hang.
  • Wood Mount. A natural, unique option with a vintage look. Your photograph is printed directly onto the wood, which results in unique changes to the colors of the print. Made from maple multiplex with a satin finish.
  • Pop-Up Metal. A modern twist to your wonderful portraits. Images are printed on metal with a special “pop-up” feature that gives the print a 3-dimensional look. They come ready to hang.
  • Gallery Blocks. A lightweight and low maintenance option that looks similar to canvas. Images are printed on wood base, and are meant to be displayed without a frame.
  • 100% Bamboo Mount. A premium alternative to framed prints. Eco-friendly, stylish, and modern. Available in 3⁄4” depth and two gorgeous colors.
  • Traditional Canvas. They can be hung as they are, or with a floating frame to maximize the “WOW” factor!

Of course, a traditional photo album is always available. I offer a 10×10 lay-flat photo album with your choice of up to 20 photographs or all photographs from the session.

Thank you so much for your interest in my portrait photography sessions. If you got to this page, that means a lot to me.
Now lets talk about your needs and expectations. Don’t be shy. Ask me anything you want to know. Even better, lets meet for a coffee.
